Scoprex is an AI-powered industry intelligence platform operated by Scoprex Teknoloji Ltd. Şti. ("Scoprex", "we", "us"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website (scoprex.com), mobile applications, and related services.

Account Data: Email address, display name, password (hashed), and selected preferences (industry tags, user type, budget range, discovery mood).

Usage Data: Pages viewed, content interactions (views, saves, feedback), search queries, and feature usage analytics via PostHog (EU-hosted, privacy-first configuration).

Device Data: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers (for push notifications only), IP address (anonymized in analytics).

Payment Data: Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. We receive subscription status, plan type, and Stripe customer ID.

AI Interactions: Questions asked in AI Chat are processed in real-time and not stored beyond the session.

We use your data to:

• Deliver personalized industry intelligence based on your preferences
• Send notifications (push, email) for matching content and competitor alerts
• Improve content quality through AI scoring and relevance algorithms
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the product (aggregated, anonymized)
• Ensure platform security and prevent abuse

We process your data based on:

• Contract: To provide the service you signed up for
• Consent: For marketing emails and push notifications (opt-in)
• Legitimate interest: For analytics, security, and service improvement

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Supabase (EU — database hosting)
• Vercel (Web hosting, edge functions)
• Stripe (Payment processing)
• Resend (Transactional emails)
• PostHog (EU — anonymized analytics)
• Sentry (Error monitoring — no PII)
• AI Providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek — content analysis only, no user data)

Account data is retained while your account is active. After account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely. Content interactions are retained for 12 months for personalization purposes.

Under GDPR and KVKK (Turkish Data Protection Law), you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and data
• Export your data (portability)
• Withdraw consent for notifications
• Object to data processing

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management) and one preference cookie for language selection. Analytics cookies (PostHog) are configured to respect Do Not Track headers and are anonymized by default. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption, Content Security Policy headers, rate limiting, and row-level security on our database. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe (PCI DSS compliant).

Scoprex is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
